The duration of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) With our Pro Dive Academy is 12 days. The course covers dive theory, teaching techniques, safety protocols, and practical skills to ensure candidates are well-prepared to become dive instructors.

Becoming a dive instructor can vary in duration, ranging from a few weeks to years based on your experience level. The shortest timeframe to go from a novice diver to a dive instructor is six months, which you can cover in a Malta IDC Diving Internship with us.

To start the Divemaster course, you need a minimum of 40 dives, and 60 dives for certification. It takes approximately six weeks to six months to complete the course or Diving Internship and earn certification.

Yes, once you successfully complete your Dive Instructor course, you will be eligible to teach scuba diving and certify students in various PADI courses. Passing the course demonstrates that you have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills, and teaching abilities to conduct dive training in a safe and effective manner
